Artist Statement: Western Light is a series that draws from the vibrant landscapes of the American West, capturing the dynamic beauty of nature through photography and the digital art process. Each piece in this collection begins as a photograph, taken during my journeys through the wilderness—golden aspens shimmering in the autumn light, the deep crimson of vines twisting over rocks and fallen trees, and soft moonrises illuminating towering mountains. These raw images are then reworked in my digital studio, where I enhance and transform the colors, textures, and light to create images that reflect the emotional essence of the landscapes.
 
The West is more than just its stunning landscape. The working people of this region are also included in some of the pieces. These images are based on the artist's original works. 
 
Each piece is printed with archival inks, on archival paper. The print comes unframed and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticty.
